The poll was carried out from 4-6 of July on a random sample of 949 respondents in the West Bank and Gaza&#8230;&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><strong> Most Palestinians want peace <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Two thirds of Palestinians support a peace settlement with Israel, 77%, and 70% would agree to disarm all factions and leave security in the hands of the Palestinian Authority security services.<\/p>\n<p>Pessimism reigned over prospects that US President Barack Obama would seriously pursue the halt of settlement construction, with 64% of respondents saying he was unlikely or would not push the goal.
