There’s excitement in the air!<\/p>\n

Welcome Dinner Project crowd-funding launches tomorrow, (10th June 2014)!<\/strong> Dear Supporters, The Welcome Dinner Project is at a very exciting stage. We are ready to expand across Australia and employ staff so that we can keep up with the explosion of interest in Welcome Dinners. Please accept our apologies if you have contacted us earlier or registered for a dinner and no one has gotten back in touch with you yet. There has been a huge increase in interest and we simply have not been resourced to deal with it. That’s exactly why we need to raise funds to build our capacity! We have an incredible team of volunteers who have been working so hard to prepare for our up-coming crowd-funding campaign. We want to show that a movement of welcome can come totally from the community and together we can be the change we want to see in our society. We know that if we\u2019re truly going to make a broad impact, we need to go from a Welcome Dinner every few weeks, to one every day \u2013 right across Australia! We need people like YOU to be part of making this happen. We plan to employ several Welcome Dinner Project co-ordinators, expand our website and train many more volunteers… …and to get started with this plan we need to raise\u00a0$50,000<\/strong> Just as important as your financial support is your assistance in spreading the word to as may people as possible by tapping into your extensive networks of influence. Personal introductions via email and messages via your social media will help us spread this campaign across all sectors of Australian society.
