The Global Catholic Climate Movement<\/a> – for God’s Creation, the Poor and future generations is echoing the call of Pope Francis,<\/p>\n

\"Pope<\/a>“On climate change – there is a clear, definitive and ineluctable ethical imperative to act.<\/a>\u201d<\/h2>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
The Global Catholic Climate Movement formed from almost 100 Catholic organizations concerned about human-made climate change. United by their\u00a0Catholic faith, they came together as a movement to care for God\u2019s creation, for the poor\u00a0\u2013 who are the most\u00a0vulnerable to climate disruption \u2013 and for our children, who will face the worst impacts in the coming years.<\/td>\n\"Poor<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
\"Raise<\/td>\nThey\u00a0encourage Catholics to renew our relationship with creation and with their\u00a0brothers and sisters in poverty, and urge political leaders to commit to ambitious climate action to solve this urgent crisis and keep the global temperature increase below 1.5 degree Celsius (relative to pre-industrial levels).<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
In 2 days GCCM\u00a0is starting\u00a0Care4Creation Month<\/strong>, joining\u00a0Pope Francis\u2019 universal prayer intention for April 2015: \u201cThat people may learn to respect creation and care for it as a gift of God\u201d. <\/span>They are inviting\u00a0Catholic parishes and communities to:<\/td>\n\"Affects<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
\"Pray<\/td>\n1) pray for creation with some resources they have\u00a0prepared,and<\/p>\n
