How can we mention the unspeakable?
How can we speak about abortion?
Australia has one of the highest rates of abortion in the Western World.
The Year of Grace provides us with an opportunity to reflect on this issue and how
we might develop a more effective pastoral response to those experiencing an unplanned pregnancy and a more compassionate and positive message to those who are suffering and grieving post abortion.
This presentation will introduce the Australian Catholic Bishops Conference resource “Walking with Love Alternatives & Pastoral Responses to Abortion” and discuss its application in parishes and schools. Suitable for all who may have an interest in this pastoral initiative.
