OceanaGold and Mining in El Salvador and the Philippines.

Concerns over gold mining by the Australian based company, OceanaGold have arisen, particularly in El Salvador and the Philippines, following the opening of the Filipino mine at Didipio. Moves are also in place to reopen the Bougainville copper mine owned by the Australian company Rio Tinto. (See below)
