An Invitation from Catholic Earthcare Australia and the NSW EcoMission Network

The launch of the NSW launch of the National Energy Efficiency Network (NEEN).

Please join with us and other community leaders and change agents on Wednesday, July 16th at the Carriageworks for the NSW launch of the National Energy Efficiency network (NEEN). The launch will also include an energy efficiency seminar, community workshop and networking lunch. The event provides attendees with the opportunity to connect, share information and collaborate on energy efficiency with the aim of realising more resilient organisations and a positive energy future. Catholic Earthcare Australia, along with key partners, and supported with funding from the Commonwealth Department of Industry as part of the Energy Efficiency Information Grants Programme, has established a National Energy Efficiency Network to enable faith-based and not-for-profit community organisations to reduce their energy consumption, energy expenditure and carbon emissions. The National Energy Efficiency Network (NEEN) is supporting this aim by providing FREE access to specialist energy efficiency information, energy savings calculators, member events and NEEN+ Community forums. Some 500 organisations have already joined NEEN and the project represents a strong opportunity for organisations to deepen their understanding and better respond to the changing energy environment.
