Two talks will be given on the Catholic Church’s teachings on Social Justice. The first evening Dan Fleming an up and coming young theologian from the Broken Bay Institute will give a lecture on the theology of Social Justice. On the Second evening Dan Fleming will introduce us to a number of important justice issues for our area in light of what we have learnt about Catholic Social Justice teaching, and then the discussion will be thrown open to our two sitting members of parliament Paul Fletcher and Matt Kean to comment on their party’s policies on these issues.
These talks will take place in the New Hall, on Thursday 19th May at 8pm and on Thursday 26th May at 8pm. Parking will be available in the grounds of Waitara Cathedral, 23 Yardley Avenue, Waitara. For more information ring Joan Pavitt 94832314
